KSP: Many of more than 200 dogs suffering in Metcalfe Co

Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 15 in Columbia has charged two Edmonton residents following an animal cruelty investigation in Metcalfe County. Trooper Trent Tooley conducted the investigation in collaboration with Guardians of Rescue, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the well-being of animals.

Travel: 10 million puffins call Iceland home

Birds of Kentucky: the largest bird in the world

Touring the rolling farmland in our area we spotted this ostrich couple - as they spotted us. The ostrich is the largest bird in the world, measuring up to nine feet tall.

Four Old Broads on the High Seas at the Star this week

The first weekend of the hilarious play, Four Old Broads on the High Seas, wrapped up Sunday at the historic Star Theater on Main Street in Russell Springs to a packed house. The four stars are: Beatrice Shelton played by Laura Lawless; Eaddy Mae Clayton played by Mary Susan Judd; Imogene Fletcher played by Anita Tucker; and Maude Jenkins played by Michelle Maldonado.
