Brayden Hughes and Blaire Feese are Students of the Week From Anthony Darnell, Assistant Principal Adair County High School Adair County High School would like to recognize Brayden Hughes and Blaire Feese for being named Freshmen "Students of the Week" for March 1, 2024. Brayden and Blair, along with several other freshmen students, were nominated by Freshmen ARROW Academy teachers for this honor. Each week, Adair County High School ARROW Academy Teachers will nominate and select one male and one female student from the freshmen student body to receive this recognition. The students will be awarded one free drink of their choice from Indian Grounds Coffee, and their photo will run all week on the video announcement boards within the school, and on Columbia Magazine. The ARROW Academy at Adair County High School is for all freshmen students. The goal of the ARROW Academy is to promote Achievement, Respect, Resilience, Ownership, and Wellness among freshmen students and teachers. Other values that will be promoted in the ARROW Academy include character building, organization, and teaching students to be all-around productive members of their class and community. Students will also participate in several team-building exercises throughout the school year to encourage communication, motivation, collaboration, and a culture that encourages creativity and builds leadership.
