Hannah Arnold's accomplishments celebrated Adair County High School Band clarinet player and drum major, Hannah Arnold, completed her final All-State band performance to a standing ovation in Louisville at the Kentucky Music Educators Conference. The ACHS senior is one of Adair County's only students to make the All State band every year - for four years in a row. She is recognized individually as one of only nine seniors in the state of Kentucky to be selected for the All-State Band all four years of her high school career. Her mother, Alesia Arnold, wrote, "We are so proud of Hannah's accomplishments. She has been to honors bands all four years - UK, UL, CU and now this year, Northern Kentucky University and Morehead University. Very few students make this accomplishment." She was first chair at UK, and second at UL this year, and Northern Kentucky University first chair, and Morehead second chair this year - and All State fifth in the top band. Her parents, Kenny and Alesia, along with ACHS band director Jordan Humphress, are filled with pride and happy to share the word of Hannah's success. Her mom says, "She has worked so hard to get where she is at today - she is very devoted to her music." In her junior year she won inclusion in the Governor's School for the Arts. She is looking at colleges now, UK is favored, but she is weighing all her options with other colleges also. This story was posted on 2024-02-20 08:06:46
