ACSO: Motorcycle collision in Knifley community By Sheriff Josh Brockman Adair County Sheriff's Office On Tuessday, October 10, 2023, at 10:49, Adair County 911 received a call of a single vehicle motorcycle accident on Elkorn Road in the Knifley community. Preliminary investigation indicates that Mary Spencer, age 60, of Connecticut, was traveling north on Elkorn Road riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Spencer stated a dog ran out into roadway. Spencer attempted to miss it, but was unable to avoid striking it. The bike then laid down, throwing her from her bike into the ditch line. Adair County EMS transported Spencer to TJ Health Columbia. Deputy Jason Camfield investigated the collision and was assisted on scene by Sheriff Brockman. This story was posted on 2023-10-11 17:07:48
