Library program 'drop your drawers' underway in Adair

Adair Public Library director Lee Ann Jessie announced the annual program they refer to as "drop your drawers."

This always gets an eyebrow-raise and a chuckle from people who may not be familiar with the children's book Captain Underpants, or the Library program.

Each fall people are invited to buy new pairs of underwear, both boys and girls sizes 4 to 16, and drop them off at the library to be given to Adair County public schools for children who have needs during school hours.
