Handsome, healthy B&W Bassett roaming Cloverport Subdivision Happy Ending Update: Owner of Basset Hound found in Cloverport is found. Ed, thank you for putting the word out on the Found Bassett Hound.The owner has been located almost 3 miles from where the dog was found. Wednesday morning, after she learned of her Mema's re-election to the Columbia City Council, November 4, 2014 general election, her mother reports that Hailey marched through the house announcing to all, "We're going to change the face of this town!" That was the extent of her first political speech, a performance she repeated many times, perfecting it. But we know she'll make many more, befitting one who's hometown is the home of the great Kentucky Governor, Martha Layne Collins. I can, without bias, nominate Hailey to lead the pledge of allegiance at a council meeting room nearby, and just hope she can be at her grandmother's 'swearing ceremony,' when that day comes.
