James Freeman (Jim) Curry, Taylor Co., KY (1931-2014) He was a very special, extraordinary man, who, with his gracious wife, who survives, Sara Blevins Curry, set high standards for food and hospitality in their very memorable restaurants, including Columbia Palace in Columbia and the unforgettable Cumberland House in Campbellsville. He was a native of Green County, KY, and a resident of Taylor County, KY and Bellevue, Washington at the time of his death. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church. He was a Green Beret who served honorably in the U.S. Army in two wars, the Korean War and the Vietnam War and will be accorded full military honors at his burial in Brookside Cemetery. Reed, and will be repeated in 2014-15, starting in September.
