Aerial display of intense house hunting

2023-04-21 - Fairplay, KY - Photo by Veronica Arnold.
Veronica writes, "These barn swallows or some type of swallow LOVE my wind chime. And made a nest in it last year. My first spring here in Fairplay so the wind chime is a relatively new thing for the birds.

Last spring they fought so much over it and well into May we out up several more bird houses (albeit different kinds) all over to prevent the birds from fighting. Yet again this spring, 2 swallow have chosen the nest and valiantly defend it from other swallows. Appears the market isn't just tough for people looking at real-estate but birds too."
