Dr. Hurtgen leading annual January Bible Study

2023-01-13 - Taylor County, KY - Photo by Gerard Flanagan, CU Communications.
Campbellsville University's January Bible Study is exploring Paul's Letter to the Ephesians, according to Dr. John Hurtgen, School of Theology dean. The annual January Bible Study continues through Feb. 5, 2023.

"This letter written from a prison also happens to be Paul's most spiritual letter," Hurtgen said. "From beginning to end, believers will not only be confronted with their identity in Christ as adopted and redeemed for God's own special purposes in the world but also instructions for the spiritual war and promises for the spiritual victory that those in Christ have been given."

Hurtgen, who also serves as pastor of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church in Taylor County, is leading the study, which is being held at Good Hope Baptist Church, 8320 Saloma Road, Campbellsville. Three churches have partnered for the study: Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church, Good Hope Baptist Church (pastor, Gerald Murphy) and Mt. Washington Baptist Church (pastor, Jimmy York). All are invited to attend.

Sessions are held on Sundays from 5-6:15pmET. For more information, contact Dr. Hurtgen at (270) 469-0328 or jehurtgen@campbellsville.edu.
