Postcards from LWC: Faham Nehal

2022-08-29 - Columbia, KY - Photo courtesy Lindsey Wilson College.
By Landon Simmons

Hi all! Meet Faham Nehal, joining the Lindsey family from Karachi, Pakistan! Faham says coming to the U.S. required many adjustments, especially when it came to the language barrier. However, getting his degree through Lindsey Wilson was worth it because it was a "good" and "inexpensive program." While he's not been to Paris, Faham believes that might be one of the most interesting places a person could go.

Faham says a favorite tradition of his from Pakistan is Eid, which he compares to Christmas. "We get together with our family, have lots of food, and elders give the young ones eidi (money to buy things on Eid). Overall, it's a good aura everywhere." A fun fact about Faham that he'd like to share is that he has excellent observational skills. We're so glad to have him with us at LWC!
