Walmart Foundation grant to be used for DARE Program

The City of Columbia has received a grant from the Walmart Foundation that will be utilized for their DARE Program. The City of Columbia has two officers assigned to the DARE Program: Jimmy Luttrell at the Adair County Middle School and Adam Cravens at the Adair County Elementary School. The DARE program is a drug awareness program for students in the school system.

"We appreciate Walmart and their commitment to the community," said Mayor Pamela Hoots.
