Teacher and pets in class with students and pets

2020-12-28 - Adair County, KY - Photo from family collection.
Deb Waddell, Adair County Middle School science teacher and President of the Adair County Education Association, is pictured here "in class" - a virtual classroom - sharing her pets with her students who also share their pets from their homes with the class.

In their virtual classroom experiences of 2020, she says she has met many of her student's pets, including guinea pigs, cats and dogs, and a horse.

Helping Deb with this class are her dogs, from left: Jake, Sammie, Lola on top, and Belle. There is one more dog, Ellie, not pictured, and five cats. "Yeah," she says, "that’s how I rumble. Lol." A few of the students for this class were: Gary Parish, Malana Burton, Savannah Pearson, Emily Hart, Reese Bardin, Ryder Chapman, and Crystal Mendoza.
