Congratulations to Dr. Tim Hooker, leader in CU ESL 2020-08-20 - Taylor County, KY - Photo from Campbellsville University communications. Tim Hooker, instructor in English as a Second Language (ESL) at Campbellsville University, graduated July 25, 2020 from Union University with his Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education Leadership degree. He has been teaching at CU for seven years. He has taught all 15 of the ESL courses for the university's ESL Institute. Some of Hooker's most frequent classes include Intermediate Listening, Advanced Reading and Intermediate Writing. He also served as a reader for Pathways 2, the current Intermediate Listening textbook. He has been involved with numerous international student activities both on and off campus throughout his time at CU, including Bible studies, fellowship events, and Beijing Information Management Schools (BIMS) summer activities.He and his wife Gantuya are pictured with their son, Josiah.
