Billy Joe writes, "Pen mentioned 'Blackberry Winter' concerning his great pic of a Daisy in CM this morning. Since I took this pic of Blackberry briars blooming in Adair County yesterday, I decided to send it in as evidence.

Evidence, when it comes to labeling particular Great Wooded South, spring cold snaps, is often a necessity. It is a necessity these days where wannabe climatologists are empowered with much aplomb by a plethora of internetipedias rather than by the reality of the facts on the ground. Don't put me in with the group of internet haters, but many have yet to discover that as with newspapers, just because it is on the internet does not make it true!"
