Ask us about the 2020 Census! 2020-02-14 - Columbia - Photo by Benisha Johnson from the office of the ACJE. This group has partnered with the Census Bureau to support the 2020Census. As a partner, we pledged to help folks understand what is needed, with a goal to ensure that our community is accurately represented. Security of information was discussed at length in the Thursday, February 13, 2020 meeting at the Courthouse Annex - basically, filling out the census information is safer than what we put on social media. To learn about the upcoming census, visit 2020census.gov or stop by the library or county and city offices, and watch for more information in all the local media. The information can be given over the phone, over the internet or by mail. Only as a last resort will a census taker visit if information is not submitted in one of the other three ways.
