Business: DQ communications continue for possible new site

2019-12-18 - Possible new location at the junction of Jamestown Street, Tutt Street and Bomar Heights Street in Columbia - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.

In a release from the City of Columbia, work is continuing on the proposed Dairy Queen location in Columbia. Mayor Pamela Hoots said, "We have been informed that work is progressing and they are hoping to be in our town soon." She said Justin Kraus, Chief Investment Officer with Fourteen Foods from Minnesota, told her Fourteen Foods appreciates the hospitality and on-going communication with the City of Columbia. The Mayor also extends appreciation to Columbia realtor Elliott Burton for working with the City on this project. More details will be announced at a later date.
