Health Department holds Gentle Yoga exercise training

2019-09-20 - Extension Office, Columbia, KY - Photo by Janet Cowherd.
The Adair Health Department hosted a training session for Gentle Yoga leaders at the Adair Extension Office this week. Marshall University instructor Sheila Plogger helped women from three counties, Green, Russell and Adair, who had come for initial sessions or for updates. The goal of the training was to share the healthy exercises that focus on gentle stretches, breathing and relaxation. Pictured are Lisa Jo Allen, Allison Shepherd, Crystal Kingery, Bailey Brown, Eva Sublett, Sheila Plogger and Linda Waggener. Classes are held at the Health Department once or twice each year and at the LWC Holloway Health and Wellness Center at 10amCT each Tuesday morning.
