Silent City annual cemetery tour getting organized

2019-08-05 - 307 Greensburg, Street, Columbia, KY .

Earnestine Bennett, Genealogy Librarian at the Adair County Public Library, is working on the 2019 Silent City Cemetery Tour, helping match volunteer actors with actual life stories of those buried in the historic Columbia Cemetery. The annual event is scheduled for Monday, October 5 at 5pmCT and is sponsored by the Adair County Genealogical Society and Adair County Public Library. October is Family History Month and the Silent City Tour is an effort to kick-off a month of family and local history research.
