2019-04-30 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, columbiamagazine.com.
The Adair County Health Department is offering a Gentle Yoga series and this group is half way through the weekly sessions. From left are: Lou Vena Leigh, Joyce Kelly, Pam Acey and her Dad, 91-year-old Korean War Veteran, Raymond 'Pete' Curry who is taking the class to gain strength so he can participate in the Honor Flight to Washington DC in September; yoga class instructor and diabetes educator Janet Cowherd, and two of three Lindas in the class, Linda Russell and Linda Richer. (The third Linda is behind the camera). Janet reminds the class each week, "Motion is lotion for your joints."
