Rewarding work volunteering at the animal shelter

Hugs are the rewards you get when you give time to help out at the Green River Animal Shelter. Beth Cowan, one of a group of 4-H members who recently volunteered there, can recommend it as a happy thing to spend time on. Director Tammy Campbell sends a big thank you to all the 4-H'ers and invites other groups and organizations who have time for volunteer work to get in touch - 455 Appleby Dr, Columbia. Open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 10am-4pmCT; Saturday 10am-2pmCT; Closed Monday, Thursday, and Sunday. For more information call (270) 385-9655.
