Epicurean Kentuckian: Competitive Biscuits and Gravy

2019-02-09 - Ashland, KY - Photo by Pen.
Evan Waggener, Columbia Magazine's resident Gravy Scientist, samples items at The Gravy Bowl, a fundraiser for Ashland's downtown event and revitalization organization, Ashland in Motion. The event is described as "a biscuit and gravy sampling event, featuring live music and a bar stocked with brunch favorites." The event is held the week after the Superbowl in the Ashland Train Depot, which has been beautifully renovated as a public event space.
