My Patriot Veteran

2018-11-07 - Russell Co., KY - Photo by Richard Robertson. Richard writes, "Matthew, my 3rd-great-grandfather, provided resistance against Mother England's oppressive policy: Taxation without Representation! Because of his, and many others, service in George Washington's Continental Army, we secured the right to choose our Representatives. We have maintained that right for nearly 250 years, and last exercised it yesterday in our National elections! Hurrah, for our veterans and the perseverance of our great Nation!" Taken at the Humble community cemetery, formerly the Matthew Robertson Farm, in Russell Co. KY, on election day Nov. 6 2018.
