With the "Road Rising to Meet You," Meatskin road is a reminder of former Rep. Tim Lee Carter's favorite poems. And it's a reminder of a wonderful Adair County political leader, the late Fred C. Sexton under whose management the farmland was at one of its peaks. This view is on the westward path of Meatskin Road. One would be hard pressed to decide which direction gives the more pleasing view. - EW
