On a most probable Red Letter Day in Adair County History, Ladder One was on the Square during a two hour Bonus Giving Period this morning from 8am-10amCT, before Columbia/Adair County Firefighters leave for WHAS Crusade for Children's live broadcast today. Above, center, is Donald Hare, publicist for the Crusade, and right, Roger Cundiff. Ladder One will stay in Columbia, as firefighters travel by private vehicle to Louisville for the historic turn-in, with details of the special meaning of the day. - EW
