There must have been giants in Putman Co., Adair Co., KY

2018-04-24 - Putman County section of Adair County, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
One who studied at the feet of the original Varmintologist, Dr. Billy Neat, can only attempt to channel his explanation found in Putman County. He was the first to teach others as to when one would know they had entered the mystical kingdom. "You don't need boundaries," he would say. "You know you are there. It just suddenly greens out." And so, channeling the great man, who was also Adair County PVA for many years, what his reaction would have been to this scene. "Giants must live here. One's obviously dropped his gumbo." That's what I thought. - EW
