Columbia City Council 2 Apr 2018 - Lots of radiant smiles, optimism

An optimistic outlook prevailed at the Columbia City Council last night, with smiles an ideas coming from all directions. Tiffany Kessler, left, gave a glowing report on prospects for business improvement picked up on the trip and at the Retail Academy session she attended recently. Ellen Zornes was elated with the Council's approval of her request for continued support for the Hwy 55 South Road Park, with the Council sweetening support for the attraction, going one better to make the $1,000.00 per year city stipend part of upcoming Council Budgets, an idea proposed by Councilor Dr. Ronald Rogers and approved by all the Councilors present: Pam Hoots, the Craigs - Dean & Lasley - and Linda Waggener. - EW
