Road Naming systems are clues to county you are in

The designations may not be unique to Casey County, but it is prevalent there to see a county road, a "CR" as a "Conn Road." Of course, the swifter-witted among us immediately know that this is a real shortcut - a passable road usually a cross, a hill or through a ford or dry bridge. When confused about which of the CM-7 county area you are in, the occasion of "Conn" road signs indicating "Connector" roads makes it highly likely one is in Casey County, just as red bridges indicate Adair, and seeing many signs with "Bottoms," or "Landings" or "Ferry" raises the likelihood that one is in Russell or Cumberland County, though Adair County also has well known "Landings" roads, too. Green County, unique square letter type fonts make it easy to know whether one is lost in Taylor, Adair or Green. - EW. Comments on Finding Your Way Cues welcome.
