Willard Parnell celebrates 91st birthday singing in choir

Willard Parnell, retired Edmonton businessman, is holding the cane he custom made from a tobacco stick and used on his 91st birthday, April 1, 2018, when he made his way to the choir loft at Edmonton United Methodist Church to sing the choir. "You know," he said, "believe if Jesus himself had sung he the choir he would probably have used a walking stick just as humble as this one." He had driven, alone, to Columbia to eat at Betty's. He's still the engaging, fascinating conversationalist he always was and will be, we hope for a long time. - EW
