Floral brass ensemble in rehearsal for Easter

2018-02-28 - In background, Pleasant Hill Christian Church, 55 Pleasant Hill Road off Old Montpelier Road, Montpelier, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
What faith. Easter, Sunday, April 1, 2018 this year in our world, was another 33 days away and this floral ensemble seemed to trumpeting anthems of the risen Savior. This group may not even be around then. Without apologies to some who think plants do not have personalities, and that this is a fanciful concept, we think that just maybe, a century or so from now, it may be commonplace to embrace that concept. While it is not entirely new, a Sierra Club article, Yes, Animals Have Personalities—And They’re Altering Wildlife Biology, gives license to the notion that animals have personalities, even if many holy men argue they do not have souls. The latter may be in the minority. Few dog and cat lovers can embrace a heaven - or a separate paradise, without them in paradise. Mema couldn't have. If she's not with her favorite horse, Cherokee, in heaven today, somebody is hearing about it. EW.
