A beckoning brook vs. beckoning byway: Which way?

We took the more travelled, easier way, the blacktopped byway, but the cascading falls of the little creek, whose name we did not find, had a stronger call. The stream flows into Shirley Branch. The choice may have made a difference, in the longer scheme of things, but we'll go back, soon, sometime after a 10 day drought. Creek crossings can be problematic for CM's small windup cars, and Corbin-Richards has many crossings. - EW/LW
