A new business in Columbia announced February 2, 1938

"Messrs. A.A. Lloyd and Claude M. Lloyd, of Susie, Ky., were in Knoxville last week purchasing equipment for a new drugstore which they will open here in the building formerly occupied by Gilmore Drug Store. They plan to have the drugstore ready for business the latter part of February." (Cutline and text from the February 2, 1938 edition of the Adair County News.) - JIM
