Taking the KY 704 "shortcut" from Burkesville to Columbia, KY is always a revisit to country which well deserves it early official "Scenic Highway" designation. It remains a magnet, especially for those of us who love the historic structures of the past, especially the grand old Amandaville General Store, above. Related photo of G.W. Brockman Store, which once stood just around the curve, north of this location.
