Only known ad for the firm of Burton & Eubank

The image from the October 8, 1929 Adair County News is the only ad found to date in the Adair County News for the firm of Burton & Eubank (first names not given). Almost two and a half years later, in early March 1931, came word that Mr. G.W. Burton & Mr. T.A. Furkin had opened a "used car firm" in the Albin Murray garage building. The announcement mentioned in passing that Burton & Furkin were also dealers for the Marmon automobile. A handful of ads from the firm for the Marmon appeared in March & April that year, but the operation then faded away, never again to draw mention in the paper. In 1931, of the 1,202 automobiles registered in Adair County, only one was a Marmon.
