Sunrise over Lindsey Wilson seen through coffee tree pods. At one time, according to Billy Joe Fudge, the beans in the pods were used to make coffee. The beans are toxic to humans prior to roasting, however, so use caution. The Epicurean Kentuckian wants to know if Kentucky coffee tree coffee, or a blend, has ever been served commercially.
