Fast start fizzles out Campbellsville football suffers 49-28 loss

Kendon Young (1) caught six passes for 153 yards in Campbellsville's 49-28 loss on the road, to No. 4 Lindsey Wilson College in the Battle of Highway 55. Campbellsville’s football team scored twice in its first four plays, but No. 4 Lindsey Wilson College defeated the 18th-ranked Tigers, 49-28, on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Blue Raider Stadium in the final game of the regular season. This marks the first time in series history that the winner of the turnover battle has lost the game. Campbellsville concludes its regular-season schedule with a record of 7-2 overall and it finishes third in the first season in the MSC Bluegrass Division after going 4-2 in the division. - David Gerhardt, Campbellsville University.
