ACES students give outstanding performance at Board Meeting

This troupe from Adair County Elementary School , from left, Addie Baker, Alayna Marcum, Samantha Oliver, Sophia Coleman, and Brent Moore, listen to their introduction by ACES Principal Steve Burton, at the Thursday, October 19, 2017, regular meeting of the Adair County School Board, before leading the meeting in the pledge of allegiance. After that, they presented a one-act play commercial-ready-for-prime time Tv, promoting Doggie Dash, which will be held Saturday, October 21, on the ACES campus, with each performer reciting multiple lines flawlessly before a highly receptive audience. Teacher Robin Hancock wrote and directed the play for Doggie Dash which is expected to raise a great deal of money for the Green River Animal Shelter. - Ed Waggener
