Flags and flowers wave over Downtown Greensburg, KY

Wave Petunias are great for hanging baskets like these on the lamp posts in Greensburg. Mixing them with American flags are especially beautiful, the slightest breeze moves both the flowers and the flags. While Petunias look easy to grow, blooming every day summer through fall, they require watering every day and a dose of plant food every couple of weeks plus what Mom always called "dead heading," getting withering blossoms off the plant to make way for growth of new ones. My question for the city of Greensburg is, "who is your flower expert and how much time does s/he invest in keeping them so beautiful?" - LW
