Tracey Rhinehart's elementary class build Reading Stamina

2017-08-28 - Campbellsville Elementary School, 315 Roberts Road, Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Calen McKinney, Public Information Officer, Campbellsville Independennt Schools (CIS) .
Campbellsville Elementary School. second-grader Jacob Hernandez shows his classmates the proper way to read a book. CES second-graders are working to build their reading stamina. In Tracey Rinehart's class, students spend time each day reading books from the library. Recently, before they spent some time reading, Rinehart discussed the proper way to read a book, which includes reading each page, staying still, reading the entire time given, enjoying reading and much more. As the school year continues, Rinehart's students will work to increase the amount of time they can read while staying focused on their books. Students received bags in which to keep their books, and they decorated name tags to put on them so they can be sure they don't lose them. - Calen McKinney
