Beautiful tobacco blossoms, Russell County, KY

This picture taken Sun 30 Jul 2017, in Russell County, KY, is dedicated to Our Carmel Cousin & wife, who made a special trip from there - NE of Indianapolis - recently, and arrived in Adair County with a lament that they did not see a single patch of tobacco in the over 200 mile trip. He was remembering all those wonderful 90 degree July days topping tobacco on a family farm up north of Columbia, in the Mt. Gilead area of Green County. For them, this Flowers of Kentucky photo is pictured. Many others are still around who remember those carefree summers in the tobacco patches around here. - EW
