Not so long ago, the new flag at the Christian Church, 206 Campbellsville Street stood tallest we think. but sometime this week a challenger was raised, at the headquarters of United Citizens Bank of Southern Kentucky (actually in what is commonly known as Ann Sutton's front yard). We saw it first at twilight's last glow. It was a compelling site - and in plenty of time for July 4th. Kinda gives one chill bumps. The breeze didn't cooperate last night, but one is welcome to imagine it flowing out from the pole. One could hope local businesses and institutions would vie for the tallest, biggest, flag in the community. Maybe in the state, maybe in the world??? But wonder who has the location to most impress visitors for that? -EW
