A quick Googling tells us that the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge shown here after the Reds game last evening, Saturday, June 3, 2017, was the longest suspension bridge in the whole wide world at the time it was opened for traffic in 1866. - FRED ROWE, submitted this morning, safe at home on the Top of the Known World, Rowe Farms on Keltner Road in Adair County, KY.
