Memorial Day - Honor guard

The VFW Post 6097 Honor Guard enters the monument area: (Front to back) Curtis Hardwick, Ron Burton, Dickie Scholl, Allen Richardson, Robin Woodrum, Arvis Stapp, and Jim Smallwood. Flag bearers are Roy Kimbler (USN), and Orvis Grider. When the Honor formed in place before the monument, Kimbler stayed in place, Grider, carrying unit colors, moved beside Mayor Hardwick. - EW
