Redbuds over Crocus Creek, Melson Ridge Road

Redbud is in bloom on the cliff above pool table flat, solid rock bed of Crocus Creek. More expert photographers could probably capture a seldom seen phenomenon, redbud blossoms reflected in the stream. The point is a few yards from a retention wall, the largest such project in the history of the Adair County Road Department, built in 2008 in the administrations of CJE Ann Melton and Gov. Ernie Fletcher, and tenures of Road Supervisor Jobe Darnell, and 3rd District Magistrate Sammy Baker. - EW
