CHS students celebrate college, career readiness success

2017-03-22 - Campbellsville High School, 230 W Main, Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Calen McKinney, Public Information Officer, Campbellsville Independent Schools (CIS).
Campbellsville High School students are celebrating their college and career readiness success. Students are working hard to achieve college and career readiness status. To motivate them, College and Career Readiness Counselor Angie Travis marks their success on the wall outside her office. Photos of CHS junior and senior students are framed on the wall, and stickers are placed on the photographs as the students achieve college and/or career ready status. And, for seniors, Travis places a sticker on their photo when they are accepted into a college or university. At this time during the school year, the majority of seniors are college and/or career ready, and several have many stickers on their photos to indicate they have been granted admission into several colleges. For more information about college and career readiness at CHS, contact Travis or Guidance Counselor Richard Dooley at (270) 465-8774. CHS students are motivated to complete college and career readiness status by their successes being marked on the wall outside College and Career Readiness Counselor Angie Travis's office. - Calen McKinney
