Scenic Cumberland Co., KY: Flying Fish art, Burkesville, KY

2017-03-03 - Cumberland Co. Judicial Center, Burkesville, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com (c). These high flying whimsical fish sculptures are part of the street scene in art-rich downtown Burkesville, KY. They were the result of brainstorming sessions which included Burkesville artists Pat Ritter and Charlotte Cash and Cumberland County Library Director Liza Turner. Ritter and Cash in turn collaborated with Gradyville, KY sculptor David Waltz. The whole project was completed in August 2014.
