Middle School students perform flip bottle experiment

CMS fourth-grader Dakota Broyles, above, upper left flips her water bottle as her groupmates watch.Campbellsville Middle School fourth-graders recently performed an experiment by flipping water bottles. In Samantha Coomer's science class, students were asked to take turns flipping bottles filled with varying amounts of water. After flipping the bottles a specific number of times and recording how many times the bottle landed correctly, students answered questions about the experiment. Students were asked to think about whether the amount of water in the bottle impacted whether it landed correctly when flipped. When the experiment was finished, students analyzed their data. - Calen McKinney
