An era ends for another large maple, Historic Adair Courthouse

2016-11-20 - Historic Adair County Courthouse, 500 Public Square, Columbia, KY/Facing Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com (c).

This one is at the 'back door' - of the Courthouse. The photo was taken at around 5:30pmCT, Sunday night, November 20, 2016, with Gary Melson in the bucket operating the chain saw, Mike Wall looking on center, on, on left, Ofc. Josh Brockman by Columbia Police Prowler. Wall said that the whole removal process should be complete tonight by 7pm to around 8pmCT. The tree at the 'front door' - Jamestown Street side, Historian Mike Watson says - was removed Thursday night November 17, 2016. - Ed Waggener
