It's taking time for a thaw in the tensions between Hailey and grand dog Churchill. It's helped that both their senses of humor are sophisticated - may even high brow - the kind one would expect from Sir Winston, Oscar Wilde, or George Bernard Shaw. But that's not the point of this picture. The point is helping to find the waif's true lineage. He was adopted, you see. The black back streak is a clue.
