Boy Scout Troop 185 leads pledge at City Council meeting

Opening the Monday night, November 7, 2016, session of Columbia City Council with the pledge of allegiance, were, up front, Mayor Curtis Hardwick and City Attorney Marshall Loy are profiled and City Clerk Rhonda Loy can be seen, as the scoutmasters and Boy Scouts of Columbia Troop 185 lead the pledge of allegiance. Present - not all in photo - from Troop 185 were Troy Elmore, Scoutmaster, and Marc Evans, Assistant Scout Master, and Boy Scouts Austin Fruth, Garren Pearson, Ian Grant, Preston Cundiff, Alex Evans, Schyler VanArsdale, and Zack Bullock, and scout parents Mitchell Cundiff, Josh Bullock, and Michelle Fruth. All members of City Council - Craig Dean, Linda Waggener, Craig Lasley, Ronald Rogers, Charles Grimsley, and Mark Harris - were present but not all are in photograph. At left is former CJE Ann Melton, of the Adair Progress. CJE Mike Stephens was present as well. BSA Troop 185 meets regularly at 6pmCT, each Monday, at the Columbia Church of the Nazarene, 1200 Jamestown Street, Columbia, KY.
