Today has been fabulous. Especially in a personal first time discovery of Allen Sparks Road at Kristy Lane, with two inviting alternatives. It's not really clear from the signage which road is Kristy Lane and which is a continuation of Allen Sparks Road, and I can't vouch for the road to the left. Me, I took the one which appeared to be less intrusive on the privacy of this very secret discovery. But, unlike the poet's choice, it did not make all the difference. The difference was knowing that no matter how broadly - and a few might say shallowly, one travels - there's almost no way to know all one would want to know in a few hundred square miles of South Central Kentucky. And one would wonder, on a day like today, why would anyone want to go anywhere else. It's taken me almost 77 years to discover this treasure. - EW
